Selene's Art

Selene is a versatile artist from Germany. Her artistic journey commenced in 2013, when she discovered her passion for art as a means of emotional expression through abstract works. Building on her self-taught foundation, she further honed her skills in portraiture and landscape painting through private instruction with esteemed German and Dutch artists. Through intuitive layering she creates dynamic works that balance silence and chaos, searching for light, depth and harmony.

Recently, her artistic approach has evolved to incorporate a blend of abstract and realistic elements, resulting in captivating depictions of birds. These works feature realistic avian forms set against abstract or impressionistic backgrounds, often showcasing birds in dynamic flight over oceanic landscapes.
